Chewing Gum Removal  

Chewing gum is a relatively recent blight on society.

Wherever one looks, in public places, particularly, one sees those white tell tale dots of gum on pavements, stuck to walls, stuck to the underside of seating and even on carpets of shops and restaurants.

Removing it on a regular basis it keeps the area looking fresh and clean. Also, the sooner it is removed the less likely it is to leave the unattractive "oil stain"

It is interesting to note that where councils and other authorities have taken their responsibility seriously and kept the area chewing gum free there is quite often very little gum in surrounding areas. This suggests that when people see gum everywhere they feel that it is alright for them to discard theirs even though it is an offence to drop litter with a £50 penalty.
