Algae Removal

Algae is unsightly and if left untreated, algae can be a serious hazard on walkways, driveways, paths, decking, marinas, pavements, play areas, or other areas with public access.

In these litigious times, companies and individuals are regularly being sued by people who have fallen due to the growth of algae and moss. It is prudent to tackle the problem as soon as possible rather than leaving it to progress unchecked.

Once the area has been thoroughly cleaned and the spores removed an inhibitor can be applied via a low pressure applicator. This will prevent the algae re appearing for up to 3 years in normal conditions. It has been applied to slip ways in tidal areas and has lasted in excess of 10 months, impressive considering the severe conditions perfect for the rapid growth of algae.
